Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 27, 2026

BootPixel respects your privacy. This policy explains what information may be collected when you visit or interact with this website, why it may be used, and the choices available to you.

Information we may collect

  • Technical information: hosting, security, and analytics systems may process an IP address, browser type, device information, approximate location, referring page, requested pages, and timestamps.
  • Usage information: analytics tools may record page views, navigation paths, session activity, scrolls, outbound clicks, site searches, downloads, and other enabled interactions.
  • Comments: if you submit a comment, WordPress may collect the information entered in the form together with an IP address and browser user-agent information to help detect spam.
  • Messages: if you contact BootPixel, the information you provide will be used to respond to your request and maintain necessary correspondence.

Cookies and similar technologies

BootPixel, WordPress, hosting tools, and connected services may use cookies or similar identifiers. Essential technologies support normal operation, security, forms, preferences, and authenticated sessions. Analytics technologies help measure how visitors find and use the site. BootPixel uses CookieYes to display its consent banner and manage visitors’ cookie choices. The banner offers controls to accept, reject, or customise non-essential cookie categories. Advertising-specific consent controls are being completed as described below. Browser controls may also be used to restrict or remove cookies, although doing so may affect some site functions or the accuracy of measurement.

Google Analytics

BootPixel uses Google Analytics through the Site Kit by Google plugin to understand audience growth, traffic sources, popular content, device categories, and general interaction with the website. Enhanced measurement is enabled, which may measure interactions such as page views, scrolls, outbound clicks, site searches, video engagement, and file downloads when applicable.

Google may process analytics information and use cookies or similar identifiers in accordance with its own terms and privacy practices. Analytics data is used to evaluate and improve BootPixel’s content, navigation, performance, and technical reliability. BootPixel does not use Analytics to intentionally collect information entered into contact forms or other fields as analytics content.

Google’s privacy information is available at policies.google.com/privacy. Browser settings, privacy tools, and available Google controls may be used to limit analytics cookies or measurement.

Advertising and affiliate links

BootPixel has integrated Google AdSense through Site Kit by Google. As of the date above, the site is undergoing Google’s review; integration does not mean that advertising has been approved. Loading Google services can share technical information, such as your IP address and the page address, with Google even when an advertisement is not displayed.

When ads are served, third-party advertising providers, including Google and its partners, may use cookies or similar identifiers to select and measure ads, limit repeated impressions, and prevent fraud. Advertising cookies can support personalised ads based on previous visits to BootPixel and other websites. The advertising experience depends on your consent choices, Google settings, location, and applicable requirements.

You can manage or turn off Google ad personalisation in Google Ads Settings. Turning off personalisation does not necessarily remove ads or all advertising-related processing. Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services and read Google’s Privacy Policy. Where a consent message lists participating advertising partners, it also provides their purposes and privacy information.

Advertising consent configuration is being completed during the review period. BootPixel will use the required consent mechanism before serving personalised advertising in regions where it is required. This policy does not replace the choices offered by that mechanism.

Some articles may include affiliate links in the future. If a qualifying purchase generates a commission, it will not increase the price paid by the reader. See the Affiliate Disclosure for more information.

Sharing, processing, and retention

BootPixel does not sell personal information. Information may be processed by hosting, security, analytics, advertising, spam-prevention, or communication providers only as needed for their stated purposes. Information shared with Google services may be processed in countries other than your own under Google’s applicable terms and safeguards. Retention periods depend on the type of record, the connected service’s settings, security requirements, and legal obligations.

External links

Articles may link to external websites. Their content and privacy practices are controlled by their respective operators, and BootPixel is not responsible for those practices.

Your choices and requests

You may accept, reject, or customise non-essential cookies through the CookieYes consent banner and revisit your consent choices when the control is available. You may also use browser controls to manage cookies and privacy settings. To request information about personal data submitted directly to BootPixel, ask for a correction, or request deletion where applicable, use the Contact page or email contact@bootpixel.com and provide enough detail for the request to be identified safely.
